The 3D FABRI GEAR 400 lll, winner of the “47th Machine Design Awards” in Japan

The Mazak 3D FABRI GEAR 400 lll has won the Excellence Award / Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award at 47th Machine Design Awards, held by Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun Ltd.

The “ Machine Design Award” was established in 1970, supported by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and The Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This award is given to products based on comprehensive factors such as design, quality and performance.

The 3D FABRI GEAR is a rotary head-equipped high performance laser machine that has been developed as a full-automatic laser cutting machine for long pipes and shape steels.This machine can perform 3D laser cutting and tapping (when equipped with the optional tapping unit) -all in the same machine. Thanks to its exceptional cutting versatility, the 3D FABRI GEAR 400 lll can effectively meet the production requirements of a wide variety of industries, such as air conditioning, signboard, general sheet metal processing, automotive, aerospace, steel frame, bridge construction, shipbuilding, semi-conductor, and liquid crystal.The 3D FABRI GEAR 400 lll is designed for automatic and continuous 3D laser cutting of large, long structural material – material is placed in the loading station, and 3D laser cutting is performed automatically as well as transfer of finished parts to the unloading station.
